The course is comprised of 10 distinct subjects. The client requested the inclusion of a choice for learners to either engage in the full course or to attempt a ‘test-out’ option. Should a learner not succeed in the ‘test-out’, they would be directed to take the complete course.
To monitor progress, SCORM 2004 was utilized, catering to the client’s need for granular data at the question level.
The subject matter expert (SME) required an inventive approach to demonstrate the sales representative’s process of making calls to market the product. I worked in tandem with the SME to craft this illustration. The example presents eight distinct scenarios, each featuring a unique “Phone Call” sequence. After engaging with these scenarios, participants were required to pass a 10-question quiz to conclude the interaction.
SCORM 2.1 was utilized for this project as the client’s sole requirement was the tracking of completion dates.
Originally this course was developed in Flash, I served as the Instructional Designer (ID) for this inital build, collaborating with a Flash Programmer and a Graphic Artist to craft the interactive elements. When a request came to repurpose the course a year later, I faced a challenge: both the Flash Programmer and Graphic Artist had departed from the company.
I employed Photoshop to capture screenshots and perform necessary photo modifications. This enabled me to successfully reconstruct the entire course for the client using Articulate 360.
This course subject is about hiring the correct employee. It covers the company policies and procedures.
